safe-bomb: The accidental bombing death of the Palestinian ambassador in Prague has Czech police asking why the Palestinian Embassy has explosives and weapons on the premises. Palestinian Ambassador Jamal al-Jamal died last week while trying to open an old safe that was booby-trapped with a bomb. Police said this week that during their investigation of the accident they found a dozen other illegal weapons at the embassy compound. Taysir Jaradat, the Palestinian deputy foreign minister, said the weapons were legal, but former Czech military chief of staff Jiri Sedivy told Aktualne.cz that the Palestinians may have been storing weapons shipments in Prague over the years.
