Top 5 Best Backpacking Tent 2020

Top 5 Best Backpacking Tent 2020

Are you looking for the best backpacking tent? In this topic, we will top backpacking tents on the market.

1. Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2
For a backpacking tent that deftly balances low weight, interior space, and features, look no further than Big Agnes’s Copper Spur. This tent helped define the ultralight category and still is going strong many renditions later. All told, you get 29 square feet of floor space for the two-person version, solid headroom with a hubbed pole design, and two doors, at just 3 pounds 1 ounce. It’s much lighter than competing models like the MSR Hubba Hubba and Nemo Dagger, and without the design compromises of Big Agnes’ Tiger Wall and Fly Creek.

And for two backpackers who want a little extra room, the three-person version of the Copper Spur offers a healthy 41 square feet of space at 3 pounds 14 ounces. For 2020, Big Agnes has released a new version of the Copper Spur HV UL2. Changes include new vestibule awnings that stays open using your trekking poles, redesigned storage, and a slightly higher weight at 3 pounds 2 ounces. We are taking the new model to Patagonia for testing this January and look forward to getting it out in adverse conditions, but the older version currently is on sale while supplies last, which is a big reason we give it the nod here. With either model, keep in mind that the 20-denier floor fabric is relatively thin, so take care when setting it up and entering/exiting the tent.

2. REI Co-op Half Dome 2 Plus
If you’re looking for the right combination of price and performance, REI has been making some of the top budget-oriented tents on the market for years. The Half Dome is downright iconic at this point, offering just about everything that most casual and beginning backpackers need at a reasonable price. The tent is super easy to set up and take down, very durable with a 70-denier floor, has vertical walls for extra headroom, and sports ample mesh for stargazing. Yes, you can save with the cheaper REI Trail Hut , but there are real compromises in terms of weight, interior space, and materials. All told, we think the Half Dome is a great value for what it is and should keep most people happy for years of backpacking—it’s the tent we recommend most to family and friends.

It’s worth noting that a couple of years ago, REI moved the entire Half Dome line to the more spacious "Plus" versions (they used to offer both regular and “Plus” for each capacity). The truth is that we appreciated having the option of going non-Plus: the regular Half Dome was around $200 at that time and weighed less. It’s true that the 35.8 square feet of floor space is quite comfortable for two adults, gear, and even a furry friend, but we hope REI brings back the regular sizes in the future. If anything, it’s more choice. This gripe aside, you won’t find a higher-quality or more versatile tent in this price range.

3. Zpacks Duplex
A number of leading ultralight tents utilize Dyneema—the high-tech fabric commonly used in boat sails and praised for its strength-to-weight ratio—and our top pick is the Zpacks Duplex. With an all-in weight of just 1 pounds 5 ounces (counting stakes and using two trekking poles for support), it’s an impressive 10 ounces lighter and about $200 cheaper than the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Dirigo 2, yet still includes a bathtub floor for protection from the elements. In practice, we found the Zpacks to feel decently roomy for this category with a 48-inch peak height, and you can adjust the dimensions fairly easily depending on the campsite and conditions.

All in all, no ultralight tent is perfect, but the Duplex is an impressive option that has been relied upon by serious thru-hikers for years. What are the shortcomings of the Zpacks Duplex? We’ve had no issues with water entering the tent—even while camping in snow—but the open sides and thin materials definitely can make it feel drafty in certain conditions. Second, the Duplex technically is smaller than the Dirigo 2 in terms of floor area, and like many ultralight tents and shelters, it is a feasible but cramped option for two backpackers. Third, setting up the tent can be a bit more complicated than some single-pole designs, so we recommend practicing before heading out into the wilderness

4. MSR Hubba Hubba NX
MSR’s Hubba Hubba NX has never been the absolute lightest on the market nor the most  spacious, but it checks just about all of the boxes we look for in a backpacking tent. It’s lightweight at 3 pounds 14 ounces, yet unlike many true ultralight models, offers good livability with two doors and vestibules and near-vertical walls. In addition, compared to the Big Agnes Copper Spur above, you get a relatively strong 30-denier floor that can take more use and abuse. Last but not least, weather resistance is excellent, and MSR honed in the design even further last year with an Easton Syclone hubbed pole that improves performance in windy conditions and a longer-lasting waterproof coating on the fly.

It was a really close call between the Hubba Hubba NX and Nemo Dagger. To get down to the nitty gritty, the  Nemo weighs the same but is slightly roomier with 31.3 square feet of floor space and costs $50 less. On the other hand, the Hubba Hubba has superior ventilation for summer backpacking (the Dagger only vents out the doors) and more complete rainfly coverage (the Nemo leaves small portions of the ends slightly exposed, which can result in some wetness along the interior in heavy moisture). The cherry on top for us: the MSR is extremely well-built and readily available, something Nemo struggles with year after year.

5. REI Co-op Trail Hut 2
The Half Dome above is REI’s best-selling backpacking tent, but you can go cheaper with the new-for-2020 Trail Hut. Here’s the good news: for under $200, you get a quality build with two doors, full-coverage rainfly, and ample storage. Notably, the Trail Hut 2 is replacing the old Passage, which was $159 without a footprint included (it’s debatable whether you need a footprint or not). Compared to the Passage, you get a modernized pole design for more headroom along with the option to roll up the sides on warm and clear nights, both of which are nice features. Who should buy the REI Trail Hut 2? It’s a great option for those new to backpacking or who can only get out for a trip or two each summer. At $30 less than the Half Dome 2 Plus above with a footprint, the value is there but you do sacrifice in terms of weight, interior space, materials, and the amount of mesh.

Top 3 Best Pruning Saw 2020

Top 3 Best Pruning Saw 2020

Are you looking for the best pruning saw? In this topic, we will top bow saws on the market.

1. Silky 270-33 Zubat Professional Hand Saw
Starting with a 13-inch curved, mono-constructed blade and a black polypropylene sheathe, the 270-33 Zubat has a lot to offer. The blade itself is chrome-plated and rust-resistant, with an impulse-hardened, non-set tooth design and six and one-half teeth per inch. Featuring a detachable belt holder, this saw weighs only .65 pounds, or 1.1 pounds when sheathed. Users often comment that the Zubat is more than a simple tree pruning saw, using it effectively for a number of tasks ranging from cutting tall grass to six-inch posts with equal ease.

The blade is durable and incredibly sharp, making the teeth less likely to get stuck when cutting tree branches than other saws. Owners of this hand tree saw also love the spring-loaded rollers use in the sheath design or superior retention. There is one major issue with the Zubat, and it is an increasingly common problem with products across the board. Many consumers have purchased this tool only to receive a variation with 300mm blade and plastic handle screws instead of the 330mm blade with metal handle screws. This variation is prone to breaking, and you will not know which version is shipped unless you order specifically from a reputable source.

2. Samurai Ichiban GC-330-LH Curved Pruning Saw
Don’t let the gimmicky name fool you, the Samurai is a clean-cutting tree pruner that makes you feel like a warrior! The blade is razor sharp (seriously), and the ergonomic handle allows for comfortable gripping as you tear into tree trunks. The included scabbard takes inspiration from sword scabbards, allowing the blade to snap in securely, while a quick release provides easy withdrawal. Consumers from all backgrounds have raved about the sharpness of the blade, commenting that simply touching it can break skin. While this means extra care must be taken to keep it away from children and safe handling is a must, it also allows user to saw through even 12-inch logs with ease.

Some users have even commented that it works more efficiently than electric saws, stating that a groove forms on the first pull and even living branches can be cut with very little effort. There has been very little complaint about the Samurai, and the induction-hardened blades hold up well against wear and tear. However, like other types of saws, the teeth will eventually wear out, and your first instinct will be to resharpen the blade. Those who have attempted this have found the quality of the blade drops after sharpening, making it more practical to simply replace the blade when it wears down. The extreme sharpness of the blade also means you must be very careful when handling the saw to avoid injury.

3. Corona RS 7395 Razor Tooth Pruning Saw
Corona has a reputation for quality saws, and the RS 7395 is no exception. The SK5 steel blade has a higher carbon content than other saws, allowing the blade to dull much more slowly than the competition. Likewise, the chrome plating and triple-ground, impulse-hardened teeth create less friction while removing up to three times as much material per stroke. As a final bonus, the ergonomic, no-slip handle and blade are interchangeable, allowing you to switch between different blade lengths or handle shapes as needed for the perfect job every time.

When it comes to the blade, consumers are quick to mention the extreme sharpness, the resistance to dulling, and how little it bends when sawing. They note very little maintenance is needed, and the same blade will still cut well after years of use. Users also appreciate how the light weight and narrow blade is, making it an ideal tool for working in small or hard-to-reach spaces. There are three main complaints regarding the 7395. Owners have noted that the blade cuts mostly on the pull (similar to a Japanese saw), requiring more work than a blade which cuts both directions such as a typical bow saw.

While this doesn’t diminish the cutting power on the pull, the extra strokes can make it seem less effective to some users. The second complaint is that it is not sold with a scabbard. Consumers note that between the price and the sharpness of the blade, including a scabbard improves both the value and safety for this saw. Finally, some saws have been known to arrive with one or both of the handle screws loose, and it is advised that you tighten them before using it or the first time.

Top 4 Best Soldering Iron 2020

Top 4 Best Soldering Iron 2020

Are you looking for the best solder iron? In this topic, we will top soldering irons on the market.

1. X-Tronic 3020-XTS Digital Soldering Station
This station is packed full of features for the best possible experience, starting with its 75 Watt soldering iron. Featuring an ergonomic grip and temperature range of 392 to 896 degrees, the iron can easily handle most tasks. Both the iron and solder roll have their own holders, and a brass tip cleaner, cleaning flux, and sponge are all nestled into the base. The blue LED can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, and includes a 10-minute sleep timer and auto cool-down feature. The entire station is covered by a 30-day money back guarantee and 3-year 100% repair guarantee to ensure this tool remains in top working order for years to come. Owners are very pleased with the quick heating times and sleep feature.

They love the fact that it has a resting temperature of about 200 degrees, but quickly reheats the moment you pick it back up. In the event of a burnout or other problem, users note that customer service is quick to remedy the problem and sometimes even ship spare parts at no charge. There are two possible issues with this station, both in relation to the iron itself. The first issue occurs after frequent use. A plastic collar that connects between the rod and handle has been known to deform and require replacement in a few cases. Also, using the iron at extreme temperatures for long periods frequently can damage the heating element, preventing the iron from reaching high temperatures in future. The heating elements can be replaced, however, and you can order additional ones inexpensively from the manufacturer.

2. Weller WES51 Analog Soldering Station
This analog soldering station is designed for those who frequently need to solder a large number of items. The included iron is a slim PES51 soldering pencil with durable Nichrome-wound stainless steel heating element and full compatibility with the Weller ET series tips. An electrostatic discharge (ESD) plastic handle, foam sleeve, and non-burning silicone rubber cord help ensure you can work for long hours safely and with less fatigue. The station itself has a stand for holding the pencil when you don’t want to and a sponge.

In addition, the stations electronic control system can adjust between temperatures of 350 and 850 degrees Fahenheit quickly and provides excellent temperature recovery. To prevent accidentally damaging electronics, jewelry, or other fragile components, the system also has a wireless temperature lockout that won’t allow you to set the temperature beyond the recommended max for a specific work piece. With an auto shut-off after 99 minutes of idling and easy-to-see LED indicator, this is arguably the best soldering iron station for any work environment.

One of the most unusual perks about owning this tool isn’t the tool itself, but the manual. Chock full of diagrams and a full guide on servicing and repair, the manual has allowed most owners to diagnose and repair problems on their own. Owners of this station also love the quick heating and easy clean-up this model provides. Quite a few have noted that they purchased this stand to replace their aging Radio Shack irons, which were reliable but now as hard to find as the store itself. Weller has been a staple for decades, but many consumers have found the quality has decreased since the Weller company was purchased by Apex.

Customer service could use improvement but seems to be getting better. It’s been noted by a few that the heat sensor within the pencil has a habit of burning out over time. This renders the entire unit unusable until the soldering pencil is replaced. As the pencil costs approximately half the cost of a new unit and uses specialized tips, many owners of this product have been reluctant to replace the damaged part. Fortunately, this is not a common occurrence.

3. Weller WLC100 Analog Soldering Station
Another Weller analog model, this adjustable 5 to 40-watt station provides both accuracy and power to any project. The lightweight pencil has a certified ST3 iron-plated copper tip, cushioned foam grip, and replaceable heating element. The base includes a build-in stand, natural sponge tip cleaning pad, and power-on indicator light to warn you that you left the iron on. This model is compatible with all ST series tips and UL-listed to ensure it meets safety standards. A one-year manufacturer’s defect warranty is included. This is an excellent station for those who work on smaller projects, such as jewelry or circuit boards. Many owners have been long-time Weller enthusiasts, while others are first-time buyers.

In both cases, they note that this station is easy to use and generally high quality. The ability to heat up to 900 degrees also makes this an extremely powerful tool when high heat is needed. There have been a few issues with temperature control on this model, as there is no temperature display present. Several consumers also have reported they received visibly refurbished irons so you want to make sure you’re purchasing from a reputable seller. Most of the complaints appear to be after Weller was bought out, so it might be wise to check the manufacturing date before purchasing to ensure you get the best quality.

4. Dremel 2000-01 VersaTip Butane Soldering Torch
The number one name in hobby tools enters our list with this 14-piece precision butane soldering torch kit. This iron can perform a wide variety of functions, including burning, cutting, heating, shrinking, and welding. Highly accurate, this tool is perfect for detail and hobby work with the added bonus of being portable. A self-ignition button eliminates the need for an external igniter, and the tank holds enough butane for 75 minutes of continual use. The kit includes a deflector, case, cutting knife, hot air tip, protective cap, shaping knife, solder, soldering tip, sponge, tins, wide blower tip, wrenches, and Versa Tip tool. While a master of none, the high versatility of this tool makes it a winner with many hobbyists.

They note the higher precision available and portability as key features. While it is not shipped with a butane already in it, you can buy butane refills at Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Michaels, and many grocery stores. Refilling it is super easy. Replacing the tips on this iron can be a pain, as Dremel doesn’t offer them in US stores. You will have to go directly through their service department, which can take some time to ship. Additionally, a lot of owners have complained about the storage case, which has a cheap plastic lining and doesn’t latch, making it a bit more difficult to securely tote this kit around.

Top 5 Best Tool Belt 2020

Top 5 Best Tool Belt 2020

Are you looking for the best tool belt? In this topic, we will top tool belts on the market.

1. Occidental Leather 8089 M

This contractor grade seven bag framer set has plenty of storage in several easy-to-access compartments. Additional loops allow you to carry hammers and other large tools without cluttering pouch space. The entire rig has a total of 22 pockets and holders and is made up of industrial abrasion-resistant nylon (pouches) and leather (belt and holders) for incredible durability. Each tool bag is padded and two-ply to ensure they don’t lose their shape, even under heavy use. Additionally, the base is a 3-inch ranger work belt, and the three attachment modules can be removed or rearranged to make a better personal fit.

One of the most amazing things about this made-in-the-USA belt is just how many survive for a decade or more. There’s space to add a few additional holders, although most people find the included storage provides plenty of room. While a bit pricey, the durability and versatility of the 8089 make it perhaps the best framing tool belt currently on the market. Tool placement will always be an issue for some people, as no belt is perfect. The good news is that you can rearrange the components to better suit your needs. The bad news is that some tools will still be tough to grab if you have larger hands.

2. Gatorback B145

When thinking about tool belts, comfort usually isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. Gatorback’s B145 proves that the top tool belt doesn’t need to be a test in endurance. A patented air channel design and ultra-breathable foam backing help keep you cooler on a hot day. The extra padding also means you feel less strain from full bags. Comfort doesn’t mean sacrificing durability, and the B145 is poof. All stress points on this 1250 DuraTek nylon belt are both riveted and bar tacked. The pouches also have an interior plastic lining to help them keep a box shape that stays open.

All told, there are a total of 16 pockets. This belt has plenty of space in the larger pouches, making it a great choice for working away from the toolbox. The default setup is easily rearranged to help you put every tool in an ideal spot. Best of all, owners of this belt confirm that it really is one of the most comfortable tool belts to wear. Despite being comfortable overall, a few people have found the material to be too coarse for them and had to add softer material to the backs of the pouches. Beyond that, the biggest complaint is with the small pouches being sometimes too small for the intended tools.

3. DeWalt DG5617

This combo apron tool belt has yoke-style suspenders to make even a full load of tools feel  lightweight. The tool belt suspenders have Dri-Lex 5-inch padded shoulder straps for increased comfort, and a patented pouch handle means both easy adjustments and carrying. Storage also isn’t an issue with this belt, as it has 9 main pockets (including a dedicated speed square pocket), 11 smaller pockets, carabiner, zippered storage pocket, hammer loop, padded cell phone holder, and utility knife pocket. DeWalt’s reputation for quality doesn’t end with tools, as evidenced by this belt. Owners claim it’s comfortable, roomy, and perhaps the best carpenter’s tool belt overall. While this isn’t a cheap tool belt, the price is well worth it. There seems to be a problem with two different qualities of belt being sold. Some individuals are receiving quality metal connectors for the suspenders, but others appear to be getting cheap plastic ones. Try to verify you aren’t going to be getting the latter by purchasing this product through a reputable retailer.

4. Bucket Boss 50200

While it might seem like a small tool belt compared to some of the others in this list, the 50200 is perfect for a handyman, contractor, or even a plumber (although many of the latter prefer carrying a bulky toolbox). Built to be abused, this belt features a blended material, 600d poly material ripstop, steel buckled belt with monster grommets, and a heavy web hammer loop for even the largest framing hammers. 12 large-capacity pockets can carry a wide range of supplies and are adjustable to help fit the things you want with you. This is an excellent tool belt for the price, and holds up really well under constant use. Many handymen modify the pockets to hold smaller items, although this isn’t essential for getting your money’s worth out of this rig. While there’s no issue carrying most of your tools, there aren’t enough hoops for some of the bigger items, such as a cats paw. Also, this has a big belt that might need additional holes added for smaller waists.

5. Occidental Leather 9596

The 9596 is probably the best leather electrician’s tool belt available today. Adjustable for the perfect fit in both belt and bag position, the belt features tool pouches designed with electricians in mind. Individual holders allow you to keep all of your pliers and other tools neatly organized and instantly accessible. Not only does this rig have plenty of space (there are a total of 31 pockets and holders), but first-time owners have been surprised at how comfortable it feels. A few of the pouches seem more aimed at carpenters, making this great as a general-purpose tool belt for handymen and plumbers.

Best of all, the belt holds up well to abuse, making it a great pick for both professionals and amateurs alike. It seems counter-intuitive, but while this belt is fully adjustable, the pouches cannot be removed. This can pose a lot of problems if you need your tools arranged differently or would prefer a different pouch setup. For this reason, a lot of owners get their’s customized to suit their needs at a good leather or shoe repair shop. Also, according to the manufacturer, the tool belt can be adjusted for a 32″ to 40″ waist size but numerous users just outside that size range noted that it fit them just fine.

Top 5 Best Gaming Chair 2020

Top 5 Best Gaming Chair 2020

Are you looking for the best gaming chair? In this topic, we will top gaming chairs on the market.

1. Respawn 110

Looking at the dimensions first the Respawn 110 is 51.8 pounds and 35.5 x 22 x 15.2 inches. The chair is made to be extremely comfortable for long gaming sessions and padding is featured throughout the chair to make sure that you have the ultimate comfort. The racecar style seating is great for comfort whilst still keeping you with good posture. Maintaining posture while gaming is important if you want to preserve your body and Respawn makes it very easy to do so.

When testing this chair we sat in it for long gaming sessions up to 12 hours long and we did not experience any discomfort or irritability that we get with other chairs. The padding all-around the chair just makes it very easy to sit back, relax and focus on your game. What’s great about this chair is the adjustable footrest, headset, and lumbar padding. The extendable footrest can be extended when in use and then retracted afterward for when  it’s not in use. This allows you to sit back and offers you the choice to sit back and relax when you’re not sitting upright and focused.

The adjustable headrest pillow can be moved to accommodate people of various shapes and sizes, alongside the lumbar pillow which is detachable and can be moved as required. Something everyone wants to know is, ok Andrew the chair is great but what’s the durability like and is it going to break on me 6 months down the road? And my answer to that is that you need to test this chair for yourself and you’ll quickly see the build quality in minutes. Everything is made from bonded leather and the chair supports persons of up to 275 pounds for long-lasting use.

So now let’s say that your chair has a defect or something’s wrong with it that you don’t like, well don’t worry Respawn by OFM Limited has a lifetime warranty on the purchase with year-round support. So if you don’t like the chair, then simply call the customer service and they’ll replace or exchange your chair. Overall when it comes to value for money we believe this is one of the best chairs you can get for the price. The comfort is great and it’s not going to empty your bank account. We give the Respawn 110 5 stars and rate it as our number 1 pick.

2. OFM Essentials Collection racing style chair

The dimensions of this chair are 16 pounds in weight and 30.5 x 28.2 x 48.2 inches. This chair would definitely be our go-to budget pick. It’s cheaper than the Respawn 110 but it features much less padding throughout and the construction is of slightly lower quality. The chair, however, does have nice back padding, but you won’t get an adjustable headrest, footrest or any extra adjustable lumbar padding. Some useful features in the chair are the flip-up arms, center-tilt control, and height adjustment.

All of this allows you some basic customization to the chair that will help with your comfort. Made from Soft thread leather and contrasting colored mesh, it gives an aggressive-looking style to the chair but also helps it have a cool feel. The chair is tested for a 275 lb weight capacity and will provide long-lasting use for under that weight, if you are over this weight limit then we recommend looking at one of the other chairs we share. Overall as a budget pick, we have to say this chair is somewhat decent. We place it second for those that just need a basic gaming chair and don’t want to spend a fortune.

3. SMUGDESK ergonomic mesh chair

The dimensions for this chair are 45.4 pounds in weight and 29.5 x 21 x 13 inches. Ok so this isn’t so much a gaming chair and more likely defined as an office chair, but we had to include it because of the comfort this chair brings. The mesh design allows you to stay cool in your intense gaming sessions and provides superior comfort. The design is built to be ergonomic and compliment your body shape, so you don’t experience any pains or discomfort after long hours of sitting. The multifunction headrest helps you avoid neck problems and pain by allowing you to adjust it to support your neck.

Neck pain and back pain are one of the biggest issues for gamers and with an ergonomic chair not only will your posture be improved but you won’t be getting any pain either. The functional lumbar support helps greatly in reducing spinal fatigue. Many gamers complain about lumbar or low back pain and this chair will provide excellent support to stop that. It enhances the natural curve of your spine and shapes to your body, allowing you to sit comfortably for hours on end. The 3D armrest which is fully adjustable can be adjusted in various ways to provide support and comfort to your forearms.

The chair features an adjustable height as well as a recline function in which you can recline the chair 117 degrees backward and lift the base 8 degrees to give you a comfortable lounging position. I have to be honest in this position it’s pretty easy for you to fall asleep, so the chair could be a somewhat replacement bed. Smugdesk offers a professional customer service team to any who need it and will be happy to offer support for any product issues you experience. When it comes to price, it is quite a bit more expensive than both our top 2 picks, but this chair has been developed to be one of the most ergonomic chairs out there and we can’t fault it. Overall, we think this chair is great if it  wasn’t for the price we would place it 2nd, but the price has moved it down a spot. We’d still give it 4.5 stars and place it 3rd.

4. AmazonBasics High-Back executive swivel chair

The dimensions for this chair are 30.7 x 27.6 x 45.1 inches and 35.3 pounds in weight. This chair is a great budget option offering you an executive chair that would look great for both gamers and for everyday use in an office. The chair is padded well with padding along the armrests and a high back. You can swivel the chair 360 degrees so getting in and out of it’s a breeze. The maximum weight capacity is 275 pounds which are in line with the other chairs. The chair is made from black leather and PVC giving you that executive feel whilst not breaking the bank.

It’s a comfortable chair and although we don’t think you can sit in it for 10 hours straight like some of our other picks, it’s still a decent chair and as a budget contender, we think it’s good value for money. A downside of this chair is that some people have had issues with the fabric not holding up after years of use. I don’t think it’s the biggest issue since the chair is more of a budget option, but you should note that you might need to replace it down the line. Overall, we give this chair a 3-star rating, it’s great for those on a really tight budget and who want a chair that can function in both a gaming and office environment.

5. X Rocker Pro Series H3

The dimensions for this chair are 29.1 x 22 x 20.9 inches and the weight is 17.34 pounds. For  some of you, this might be the best gaming chair and for others, it won’t be. This chair has some really cool features that make it unique, but it is a little pricier than the other chairs. Starting off this chair is great for watching movies, playing video games and even just listening to music. The H3 has inbuilt speakers that allow you to connect up your phone, console or gaming PC and play the sound through the chair.

From testing this chair we can say that the speakers in this chair have some serious bass and could easily shake our room when played on the loudest setting. The audio quality is good, nothing amazing but the bass and vibration settings are what make this chair really cool. By enabling vibration on the chair, you feel completely immersed in your game. A loud bang or jumpscare in any game will make this chair shake, giving you a much more immersive feel. The chair is well padded throughout and is easy to sit in for hours on end.

The armrests are a little awkward and we didn’t like them so much, but the rest of the chair is simply amazing. The chair is compatible with Xbox,  PlayStation, Nintendo Wii, MP3s, DVDs and nearly all gaming systems that are out today. Like most other gaming , the H3 does a 275-pound weight limit. If you’re looking for something really cool, then if you have multiple H3s or other X Rocker chairs at a LAN party, you can sync them all up and have them in multi-game mode.

This is especially fun if you’re watching a movie and everyone has their own immersive sound system. The H3 is foldable and very easy to store, so when it’s not in use you can simply fold it up and tuck it away. Overall, we’d give this a 4-star rating, the only reason its 5th on our list is that some people might love it whilst others might hate it. The pricing is also a little expensive, but for those that want all the extra cool features then the H3 is perfect.

Top 5 Best Gaming Headset 2020

Top 5 Best Gaming Headset 2020

Are you looking for the best gaming headset? In this topic, we will top gaming headsets on the market.

1. SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

SteelSeries is a well-respected brand and has been around for many years producing the best gaming peripherals and the Arctis Pro is definitely one of their best creations yet. The Arctis Pro contains dual-wireless technology that provides 2.4G lossless audio for gaming and also comes with Bluetooth connectivity so you can use the headset with your mobile or other devices. The speakers are premium high resolution and provide some of the highest quality sound we’ve heard through a gaming headset. Not only does the headset sound impeccable but you’ll also get 20 hours of battery life, which is amazing when seeing what quality sound the headset can deliver.

Wireless headsets are often inconvenient because of charging time required between using, however with the Steelseries Arctis Pro you’ll get 2 sets of batteries, so while you game with one set, the other can be charging. The design and construction of the headset is sleek and modern, it’s made from polished steel and aluminum alloy, this gives you a really comfortable fit that molds to your head shape and also provides you great durability so the headset will last you for years to come. The microphone on the headset provides studio-quality voice clarity and allows you to easily communicate with your teammates in a tough game of counter strike or league of legends, whilst also giving you background noise cancellation to tune out any cars driving by on the street or your parents talking outside your room.

With the powerful neodymium magnets, you’ll get realistic and stunning audio that immerses you into the game. These magnets have a huge frequency range from 10 to 40000 hertz. The clarity you receive from this headset can make some games too realistic, try running through Escape from Tarkov with this headset on and you’ll be jumping out of your seat. Alongside the headset you’ll receive a ChatMix dial, this allows you to adjust audio coming in and going out, so you can make sure the sound from your teammates isn’t tuned out by loud in-game sounds.

Ok so you might be thinking, alright Andrew all of this sounds great and the headset sounds amazing now what are the downsides? Well whilst we had no issues with setting up the headset or using it, some people have said that the SteelSeries software that allows you to customize the headset is unable to pair with the device. Again this wasn’t experienced by us, however several complaints have been filed about this and it’s most likely down to faulty headsets which SteelSeries will happily fix or replace with their warranty. So overall for the Arctis Pro what would we rate it? Well, this is our top gaming headset and we’d give this a 5/5 stars.

2. Logitech G Pro X

Compared with our previous pick, the Logitech G Pro X is significantly cheaper and won’t make such a dent in your bank account, although I wouldn’t call it a budget option. The headset to us is amazing because of the premium build quality that just makes it so comfortable to wear. If you’re a serious gamer and pull crazy sessions, then wearing this headset for 12 hours straight is not going to give you a headache or cause any discomfort that you may experience with other headsets. The construction is made from durable steel and aluminum which is standard for most high quality headsets, but the soft memory foam earpads will shape to your ear and give you amazing comfort.

With the earpads, you can switch out the noise-canceling leatherette for breathable velour which is much more comfortable.  Now when it comes to audio quality, for a wired headset it’s great. It won’t take the number 1 spot, but it's definitely up there. It has PRO-G 50mm drivers, these give  you that clear and precise sound and make in-game audio easily distinguishable, as Logitech G Pro is designed for pros at gaming tournaments, you can download custom EQ profiles that  are specifically tuned for various games, allowing you to hear footsteps much easier in your favorite shooters.

Alongside the headset you’ll get a premium USB external sound card, this helps give you even better crystal clear in-game audio and also improves the quality of voice chat, so you won’t be mishearing important instructions from your friends. So now to some downsides, multiple people have said that the headsets have arrived with broken microphones and required a return to get a new one to fix. This can be a little frustrating, however, it’s an issue that only affects a very small amount of people. So overall for the Logitech G Pro X, we’d rate this 4.3 stars out of 5. The headset is great for esports  professionals and we like that it’s used by pro gamers like Myth.

3. HyperX Cloud Alpha S

Coming to one of the newer headsets, the Cloud Alpha S was released in late 2019. This headset is tuned by HyperX to give gamers what they want. It provides crystal clear and amazing in-game audio and is made to make sure that gaming with this headset will give you an edge over other gamers. With the Digital signal processing card, you get amplified audio that gives you an even more immersive experience when playing some of your favorite games. Now for a feature, we haven’t seen yet on gaming headsets, a bass adjustment slider.

Gamers and pretty much everyone I know loves being able to get a heavy bassy sound. It can make music sound much better and make gaming feel much more immersive. With this headset, you get 3 options on the earcups of the headset. You can move the sliders to either increase or decrease the bass depending on what you prefer. I tend to have them fully open allowing maximum bass, but some people might hate that, so you can slide it down. Inside the headset you get dual-chamber drivers, this allows you to separate the mids from the highs, and gives the ability for them to be tuned separately, this gives you a greater distinction and allows for less distortion overall.

On the little audio balancer, you can adjust the mix of game and chat audio levels. This saves you time since you can simply click either game or voice up or down, saving you time from rummaging through the game options trying to figure out how to change the audio levels. Something I’ll quickly go over is the comfort, although I shouldn’t have to as personally every HyperX headset is supremely comfortable, but anyway the headset comes with extra breathable earcups and has cushions that are nearly 8 times more breathable than previous models. You can also use the interchangeable ear cushions if you prefer more comfort or noise cancellation. As you’d expect with HyperX you also get a durable frame that should last you for years. Something to note though, is the extendibility of the headset is pretty limited, for those with a bigger than normal head, be wary that the headset might not extend all the way. Overall, we’d have to say this headset is pretty in line with our second pick and give it 4 stars out of 5.

4. Razer Nari Ultimate

Weighing in at 431 grams and built with the dimensions of 18.5 x 21.9 x 10 cm, Razer’s best gaming headset is certainly good, however we don’t rank it as highly as our other 3 picks so far. The Nari Ultimate is a wireless headset and provides 2.4 GHz of wireless audio giving you immersive gaming-grade audio. The quality is good, however putting on this headset and listening for the first time won’t blow you away. Something we really like about the Nari  Ultimate is the cooling gel-infused cushions that help keep your ears and head cool while wearing.

Ever had an intense game and have sweaty ears after? Yeah, it’s not a nice feeling, but this headset will keep your ears cool and skills on point. Surround sound is something that Razer has done well with in our opinion. The THX spatial audio is great and provides next-gen surround sound giving you ears all around you and helping you hear those sneaky enemy footsteps approaching from behind. The design again is something that Razer does relatively well. The adjustable headband fits most and is comfortable. You won’t get any headaches or earaches with this headset. Alongside this, visually the headset is very appealing, you get a great looking headset with Razer’s cool looking logo lighting up on each earcup.

Compatibility wise the Razer Nari Ultimate works with PC, PS4, Switch, and mobile devices, however, you’ll have to buy a separate version to get it working with the Xbox One which is a little annoying. The microphone is good, however, we found that background noise can sometimes be heard, so some better background noise cancellation would be great if Razer were to make another headset. Overall I’d give this a 3.5 stars, it’s a good all-around headset, some would call it overpriced for what it is, but there are some diehard Razer fans that love their headsets so we thought we’d include it.

5. Astro A50 Wireless

Astro has been around for years and their headsets have always been good. Today we’ll be going over the 2019 version of the A50 as there have been various iterations to the headset.  Starting off the headset has a weight of 1.49 pounds and dimensions of 7.3 x 3.5 x 7.2 inches. Our favorite thing about the A50 wireless is the customizability of the headset. You can easily modify both the earcups and the headband to improve whatever you desire. If you’re looking for more noise isolation then you can attach respective earpads, if you want more comfort then you can add a different headband.

The choice is yours and that’s something we really like. The headset comes with Astro Audio V2, which provides very high-quality sound that helps deliver all in-game audio perfectly, as well as help you hear communication from teammates clearly. Alongside this it has Dolby Audio which delivers the cinematic and high-resolution sound, giving you that really immersive gaming experience. Something not so great about the headset is it’s slightly low 15-hour battery life. I mean, it’s good, but it’s not close to our other top wireless picks. Like most of the other headsets you can easily voice and game balance, so you can increase the volume of your teammates if you struggle hearing them, or increase ingame sound at the click of a button.

The free software that comes with the headset the ASTRO command center, gives you complete control over your entire audio experience. The software is available on Windows 10, Mac and Xbox 1. Overall I have to say this headset is amazing, I’d probably have given it the number 4 pick, but I know that the Razer lovers out there would have hated me for it. So although this is our last pick I’d give this headset a 4 star rating. It does everything well and I really like how easy it is to modify.

The appliance comes with 17 different grinding options varying between fine to course. If you have a preference, then this machine should be able to cater to it. Top 5 Best Gaming Mouse 2020

Top 5 Best Gaming Mouse 2020

Are you looking for the best gaming mouse? In this topic, we will top gaming mice on the market. Before we get started with our video, we have

1. BenQ Zowie EC1

The dimensions of the EC1 are 5.03 x 2.5 x 1.6 inches and 10.1 ounces in weight. With a standard cable length of 2 meters. When you first take a look at the EC1, you’ll probably see nothing too appealing, but the outer design is not what makes this mouse amazing. This mouse is used by many of the esports pros today, in games like counter strike and DOTA. And the reasoning? The internals. The 3360 optical gaming sensor with various DPI settings ranging from 400 up to 3200 gives this mouse supreme accuracy and helps you get an edge over your enemies.

The adjustable report rate which can range from 125 to 1000Hz gives you different levels of responsiveness and allows you to customize how you play. Do you hate downloading annoying software every time you want to use the mouse? Well, the EC1 requires no drivers and no software. Simply plug this mouse in and you’re good to go. When it comes to the design, which let’s be honest, it is nothing special and doesn’t have crazy RGB lighting or some cool looking gimmicks, but the mouse does have an ergonomic design that will fit perfectly into your hand.

You can choose between a medium-sized mouse or a large one. All the buttons and key presses on this mouse provide tactile feedback, this ensures you won’t be double-clicking any buttons or question whether you did press to fire your gun or not. Again, if you put this mouse up next to something like a Razer Viper, your first instincts would be to pick the cool looking Razer mouse, but just remember this mouse is used by nearly every esports pro for a reason. The pricing point is average relative to other mice and sometimes you can find it at a discount. Overall, we’d have to say this mouse is 5 stars out of 5. It’s faultless and provides everything that a professional gamer would want.

2. Logitech G Pro HERO

The dimensions of the G Pro Hero are 81.6g of weight and 11.6 x 6.2 x 3.8 cm. Similar to the Zowie EC1, the G Pro Hero doesn’t have the most amazing design, but it makes up for its simplicity with great features built into the mouse. The Hero comes with a 16K sensor giving the mouse the best speed and accuracy you can ask for, if you want to nail those hard shots or have pinpoint precision, then this mouse will give you that. It’s built for pro gamers and you can get either the wired or wireless version. We think any pro should be using a wired mouse, but for those that enjoy the freedom, you can go with the wireless version too.

The Hero gaming sensor features next-gen precision and architecture. You also get the fastest frame rate processing yet, which is up to 400+ IPS with zero smoothing or filtering across the entire DPI range. The mechanical switches are great on this mouse giving you reliable feedback on key presses and these switches are built to last up to 50 million clicks. That’s enough clicks to last you for 10 years as a professional gamer. Although the design is simple on the outside, you do get customizable RGB lighting, of which you can pick from 16.8 million colors to light up your mouse.

This lighting will light the thin lighting strip in the middle of the mouse as well as the Logitech logo on the back. The mouse also features 6 programmable buttons, you can then bind these keys with the use of the Logitech Gaming Software. This allows you extra easy to access key binds for switching weapons or using abilities in other games. Overall this mouse is built with performance in mind and only that. It’s made to be simple and give you all the features you’d want to get an edge over the enemies in your games. We’d give this mouse 4.5 stars just behind the EC1 and think it’s the second-best gaming mouse overall.

3. Steelseries Rival 600

The dimensions of this mouse are 2.7 x 5.16 x 1.73 inches and it weighs around 5 ounces. Being a wired mouse, the Rival 600 does require 2 AA batteries which can, of course, be charged. This mouse is much more mainstream-friendly and has a much cooler looking design than our other two picks. You might see some esports pros using it, but it’s targeted more towards casual gamers than the EC1 or G Pro. The good thing about the Rival 600 is that it has some cool features such as weight tuning. You can adjust the weighs on either side of the mouse to get the perfect center of gravity that suits you.

You get eight 4 gram weights that can be placed on either side of the mouse. This is a great feature for those that want a specific weight distribution and it’s very easy to adjust. Ever get annoying jolty movements when you lift your mouse and place it back down? The Rival 600 stops this with its true depth perception. It’ll make sure that if you needed to readjust the mouse back from the edge of your mousepad to the center again, that you won’t experience any jolty or weird looking movements. Tracking wise the mouse features true 1 to 1 tracking, which ranges from 100 CPI up to 12000. You won’t get any stability issues or response time delays from this and  teelSeries have done great a job making sure you won’t run into any errors from adjusting the CPI as you may have with other mice.

The design is ergonomic and feels nice in a medium-sized hand. The side buttons are easy to reach whilst being easy to avoid for those people that misclick all the time. Alongside the mouse you get the SteelSeries Rev Up engine, this allows you to customize the lighting options as well as attach various keybinds to the other mechanical buttons on the mouse. Durability in mind the mouse is built to last for 60 million clicks, which is more than the Logitech G Pro Hero that we spoke about previously. Overall the Rival 600 is a great mainstream mouse, it’s probably not the best for esports pros or those of you that are serious FPS gamers, but it does the job and has everything a gamer would want. We’d give this mouse a 4-star rating and put it 3rd.

4. HyperX Pulsefire Surge

With dimensions of 11.9 x 6.4 4.1 cm and weighing in at 132g, the Pulsefire Surge makes it to 4th. The mouse with its cool looking RGB design packs a lot more than just good exterior visuals. The Surge has omron switches which are rated for 50 million clicks, these durable switches will last you forever and although they’re rated for 50 million, they’ll probably last you a lot longer than that. With the NGenuity software from HyperX, you’ll easily be able to customize the mouse, including changing the colors or adding custom keybinds and or macros to the various programmable buttons on the side of the mouse. The mouse glides fairly easily and is a good all-around mouse.

We wouldn’t recommend this mouse to the esports pros out there and would say that this mouse is intended more for the general population or casual gaming market. With onboard memory inside the mouse you can store customizations that you make, so wherever you take the mouse, it’ll remember. Boasting a Pixart 3389 sensor this mouse has native DPI settings up to 16000 DPI which is similar to a lot of the other mice. This provides improved accuracy and responsive tracking. Finally the braided cable is another nice touch, gone are the days of your cables getting caught and curling up, this mouse has a braided cable that allows for easy movement and protects the inner wiring. Overall the Pulsefire Surge by HyperX is a great mouse and we recommend it for casual gamers. We give the mouse 3.5 stars and place it 4th.

5. Razer Viper

Looking first at the product dimensions this mouse weighs just 69g and has dimensions of 15 x 10 x 1 cm. The Viper series of mice are intended for the esports crowd, however the reason this mouse doesn’t rank higher in topic is that Razer tends to overprice their products and we think that the Zowie and G Pro are much better options. Being the lightest gaming mouse in esports is one plus for this mouse though, although some will hate it and some will love it. When we tried it, I have to say that although the mouse is lightweight it doesn’t feel plasticky or flimsy at all. Often with very lightweight mice you might confuse the lower weight for a lower quality build, but we don’t get that with the Viper at all.

The mechanical switches used in the mouse are the new Razer optical mouse switches, which use light beam based actuation, this gives you one of the fastest response times in gaming and helps you beat some others to the punch. A great thing about this mouse is the ambidextrous design, most mice nowadays are designed solely for the right handed user, however the Viper can be used by both left and right handed gamers. As with nearly all Razer products nowadays you get a customizable RGB chroma lighting system, which allows you to change the color of the mouse between 16.8 million colors.

You also get some preset options for cool looking lighting sequences which is a nice touch. The Speedflex cable is great as it reduces drag and weight and therefore removes the requirement of a bungee, saving you some money. On the side of the mouse you’ll find various programmable buttons, totaling 8. These buttons can be programmed from the Razer Sysnapse 3 software and allow for macro functions. Overall we have to say that we like the mouse, however with it being new we aren’t sure how long the mouse will last over time. Sometimes Razer products break fairly soon after buying and sometimes they last for a while, so it’s going to be down to luck for most.
