Israel's decades of expertise in precision assassinations has resulted in the new "death device" it is deploying in Iran.
Before the launch of Operation Epic Fury , that is, before the attacks on Iran began, the US and Israel divided responsibilities. That is, the missions that each country would undertake to carry out.
According to the Washington Post, the Israelis were charged with “hunting down and killing Iranian leaders mercilessly, using an intelligence apparatus set up to assassinate with lethal skill.”
Practice makes perfect – How Israel evolved
Israel has a long tradition of targeted assassination tactics, most notably the bombing of Hezbollah members via text message sent on the same day and time.
The explosive device had been placed in the devices during their production. It was later revealed that the order had been given by Netanyahu .
Another case is the drone that fired a missile at the apartment where Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was staying in Gaza.
It is emphasized that the Israelis have been working for decades on how to kill, and the practice of years of attacking Gaza , Lebanon , and Iran has helped them evolve.
At the same time, they have increased their network of spies, as well as cyber-intrusions into street cameras, payment platforms, and anything else that can give them information about their targets.
A few years ago, they created a database into which all the data is passed and AI extracts information about the lives and movements of those they want to eliminate.
As you can read in the Long War Journal , an American website that deals with wars and created by the non-profit research institute, Foundation for Defense of Democracies, from the beginning of the war to the present, more than 250 “senior Iranian officials, according to the records of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)” have been “eliminated.” First on the list was Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
All targets were executed with the “ killing device ” that Israel has been working on for decades and in recent years has reached “ new levels of lethality, according to senior Israeli military and intelligence officials .”
The thing about Iran is that when you cut off one head, ten come out.
How the death device works
Defense analysts have explained to media outlets such as the People's Dispatch how the Israeli "death device" works.
At the center is the Maven Smart System , a central AI platform often referred to as the mother launcher and built by Palantir , a software company that “ powers real-time, AI- driven decision-making in critical government and commercial operations in the West, from factories to the front lines .”
It integrates multiple data streams and functions as the central nervous system of the "brain" (see war), as it receives the enormous amounts of data, from intercepted communications, satellite images, what happens on social networks and what spies testify, and processes it in real time.
Previously, all this information was processed by humans and took days to arrive at patterns of behavior. Now, it takes a few seconds to locate and hit the target. As soon as the information is out, the military takes action.
According to experts, this year the system was renewed and acquired the ability to identify high - value leadership targets ( HVT).
From target identification to elimination
Once the HVT is detected, the military is given the signal to take action. The shortest method employed is micro drones , which have “apartment window accuracy.”
These are small unmanned aircraft that can navigate inside buildings (even ventilation shafts) to confirm the identity of a target through facial recognition.
They carry ammunition designed for use in urban environments - to kill the target without destroying the entire building.
They are “carried” by F-15s and F-16s and released in swarms over Iran or any other target area. Thus, they travel for hundreds of meters, without needing a ground launch point.
The missiles operated by AI
Among the Israelis' most advanced technologies of death are hypersonic missiles, which have the ability to redirect while in the air.
There has been a case where a missile was diverted when AI sensors detected the target moving from a commercial office to an apartment. Thus, it changed its destination, in real time.
Supersonic capability offers the potential to bypass air defense systems, which have difficulty simultaneously monitoring multiple, rapidly changing flight profiles.
