Italy: A family of five was vaccinated against coronavirus
All five Sicilian family members who had not received any dose of coronavirus vaccine became infected and died within a month
A family of five vaccinators became infected and - within a month - was eradicated from coronavirus in Sicily, Italy.
The 80-year-old father died at the end of December, before the ambulance could take him to the hospital. His wife, 78, and their three children - 55, 52 and 50 - died within about ten days of each other.
The 25-year-old granddaughter of the first deceased told reporters: "We are immersed in mourning, our pain is indescribable. No one was vaccinated because they were afraid."
"And this tragic family history shows us - to everyone - that the only weapon against the coronavirus is the vaccine," said Emanuele Casara, director of Enna Hospital in Sicily.
