Actress Veronica Forke, Pedro Almodovar's "Kika" committed suicide
Popular Spanish actress Veronica Forke ended her life at the age of 66.
The Spanish actress Veronica Forke put an end to her life , who had played the famous character of "Kika" in the film of the same name by Pedro Almodovar.
Her body was found Monday at her home in Madrid, according to a police source.
The 66-year-old actress, one of the most popular in Spanish cinema in the 1980s and 1990s, also known for her roles in Pedro AlmodĪ²var's "A Life of Suffering" and "Matador", "committed suicide at her home in Madrid", explained the same source without giving further details.
"Goodbye Veronica Forke. I worked with her a few years ago and I have the memory of a sweet and witty woman and a very good partner. Rest in peace," actor Antonio Banderas wrote on Twitter shortly after the announcement of her death.
Born in Madrid in 1955, Veronica was the daughter of director Jose Maria Forke and writer Carmen Bathket-Vigo.
