Blood is flowing abundantly in Iraq
Six killed, 45 injured in Baghdad car bomb blast
According to a local hospital official, six people were killed and 45 were injured when a car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Baghdad. The trapped car exploded around sunset in Sadr City. The US-backed crackdown in Baghdad, now in its third month, has managed to partially curb violence as car bombings continue in the Iraqi capital. Meanwhile, US President George W. Bush vetoed a bill passed by Congress to fund the Iraq war, as well as a withdrawal plan with a specific date. Mr Bush said: " setting a date for withdrawal is tantamount to acknowledging defeat and encouraging terrorism. "
