Britain has described the Palestinian group Hamas as "terrorist"
He described the Palestinian group Hamas in London as "terrorist". It was outlawed.
British Home Secretary Pretty Patel has said she has outlawed the Palestinian group Hamas, a move that aligns the country's stance on Gaza with that of the United States and the European Union, which consider Hamas a terrorist organization.
"Hamas has significant terrorist capabilities, including access to extensive and advanced weapons, as well as terrorist training facilities," Patel said in a statement.
"That's the reason I acted today for a total ban on Hamas," he said.
Britain has already outlawed Hamas' military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigade.
