Alec Baldwin: "The script did not provide a shot"
New lawsuit against Alec Baldwin and new facts in the case. "Nowhere was there a plan to shoot."
A member of the film crew who worked on the film "Rust" stressed in a lawsuit that the script did not mention a gunshot during a rehearsal scene with Alec Baldwin .
The lawsuit was filed in a Los Angeles court by Miami Mitchell, who was in charge of the script for the film. The lawsuit names Baldwin and the film's producers.
In her lawsuit, Mitchell alleges violence, intentional infliction of grief and willful misconduct, according to The Hollywood Reporter , citing a copy of the court documents she obtained in her possession.
Mitchell and her lawyer, Gloria Olred, are expected to give a press conference in Los Angeles later today.
It is the second lawsuit filed for the murder. Santa Fe authorities are still investigating the case and no criminal charges have been filed.
The lawsuit alleges that the script provided three close-up shots of the scene - one from Baldwin's gaze, another into a bloodstain, and a third into the actor's body "as he reached into the holster and pulled out his gun. . "There was no reference to the script regarding the weapon fired by the accused or any other person," the lawsuit states.
On Oct. 21, in a rehearsal for a scene from the western film in New Mexico, cinematographer Halina Hutchins was fatally wounded when Baldwin fired a shotgun at him, claiming he was "dead" - safe. However, the weapon contained, for unknown reasons, a real bullet.
