Which famous serial killer is Megan Markle related to

The documentary that connects her with one of the most notorious serial killers who ever acted in America.

For Prince Harry, you expect him to be related to some of the most awful people who have ever set foot on earth. Just think until he reaches his bloodline, to which kings and what crimes they had committed.

Henry VIII, for example, a king and his very distant grandfather, had beheaded his two wives, or Richard III had -probably- killed his two nieces.

But to learn about Megan Markle that she may have had an even worse distant relative is somewhat unexpected.

According to the 2018 documentary "Meet the Markles", Megan Markle is the eighth cousin of Jeff Matzet, a man who is the great-grandson of the legendary serial killer H.X. Holmes. Holmes, born in 1861, was responsible for killing 27 people, or at least as many as he admitted to killing them after his arrest. The majority of his victims were women whom he first seduced in order to drag them to his death.

"I'm not proud of being my ancestor," Majet said in the documentary, adding: "Megan will not be either."

If the research of Majet and the people who created the documentary has come to safe conclusions, then one of Markle's ancestors is the killer, whom the author Eric Larson called "The Devil in the White City" in the bestseller of the same name.

Holmes, who lived as a pharmacist in Chicago, did the following satanic thing: he got engaged, seized his wives' property, and then killed them. His work culminated in 1893, at the Chicago World's Fair.

The most striking coincidence of Holmes' story with Markle is his home. As befits a royal relative, Holmes lived in a castle - or rather, he lived in a mansion in Chicago that after the revelation of his action, was named "Castle of the Killer".

This huge house-hotel was equipped with gas vents, secret passages, ovens for the on-site burning of its victims and of course the necessary sound insulation. However, there is a view that all this may have been a myth of the yellow journalism of the time. The murders, however, are not disputed.

"I was born with the devil in me," he said. "I was born with the evil to stand by the bed I came into the world and to keep me company ever since." Executed in 1896.

But his great-grandson does not stop there, and leaves open the possibility that his ancestor was also Jack the Ripper, even though they both acted on different continents at that time.

In the documentary "Meet the Markles", Jeff Majet says that his ancestor's writing matches the one saved in a letter from the Undersecretary and that both the CIA and the Scotland Yard agree. Pulled script but you never know.
