Austria: Dystopic images from universal lockdown
The universal lockdown imposed in Austria after the outbreak of the epidemic in the country brought back to the memory of the inhabitants images of dystopia that had begun to blur.
The Austria became the first country in Western Europe entered a general "padlock" following the sharp increase in cases of coronavirus in the fourth wave.
The decision was made on Friday and the lockdown started on Monday for about 10-20 days (depending on the course of the cases). The purpose of the Christmas celebrations is to take place under conditions of a relative "normality".
At the same time, Chancellor Salenberg clarified that mandatory vaccinations for the entire population will be announced soon from February 1.
And when the memories of the lockdown had begun to blur for the inhabitants of Austria, spooky landscapes made their reappearance.
