Malikah Shabazz: Malcolm X's daughter has died
Malikah Shabazz passed away at the age of 56. She was found unconscious by her daughter at her home in Brooklyn.
Malikah Shabazz, the daughter of Malcolm X, a well-known American Muslim priest and civil rights activist , passed away on Monday at the age of 56.
According to the New York Police Department on CNN , she was found unconscious by her daughter at her home in Brooklyn. Police said the deaths appear to be due to natural causes.
Bernice King, daughter of the late Martin Luther King Jr., expressed her condolences to the family.
"I am deeply saddened by the death of Malikah Shabazz. My heart goes out to her family, the descendants of Dr. Betty Shabazz and Malcolm X. Dr Shabazz was pregnant in Malikah and her twin sister, Malaak, when her brother "Malcolm was murdered. Rest in peace , Malikah, " Bernice wrote on Twitter.
The Malikah Shabazz is the smallest of the six daughters of Malcolm X. The Malcolm X was one of the most powerful voices in the fight against racism before murdered in New York in 1965. On February 21, 1965, three armed the "Nation States of Islam "was executed in front of the terrified eyes of his followers, during a militant speech in New York.
